Immune Regulation by Regulatory Cells

چکیده
Inflammation is a protective response that occurs in to tissue injury and microbial infections. A significant advancement has been made our understanding of inflammation, which one the most fundamental concepts medicine. Immunoregulation immune-mediated inflammatory diseases depends on Th17/Treg balance. Costimulatory receptors, cytokines, metabolic pathways, intestinal microbiome all affect this balance conditions. Maintaining functional equilibrium between these two subsets very important design an appropriate effective treatment strategy.

CD161+ regulatory t cells in immune regulation
Introduction Regulatory T cells (Treg) are crucial for maintaining immune homeostasis and mediating immune tolerance. Several studies have shown that Treg can produce cytokines. CD161, a C-type lectin receptor, identifies Treg that produce cytokines. Interestingly, CD161+ Treg are enriched in the inflamed joint of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) patients and their numbers relate to clinical...

متن کاملRegulation of immune responses by apoptotic cells
Billions of cells die everyday as a result of normal tissue turnover, infection, trauma or injury. These dead cells are taken up, processed and presented to T cells by antigen presenting cells resulting in tolerance or immunity. Apoptotic cells induce tolerance; however, the precise mechanisms are still unknown. Previous studies have shown that direct infusion of apoptotic cells induce toleranc...
متن کاملImmune regulation through mitochondrion-dependent dendritic cell death induced by T regulatory cells.
Dendritic cells (DCs) harbor an active mitochondrion-dependent cell death pathway regulated by Bcl-2 family members and undergo rapid turnover in vivo. However, the functions for mitochondrion-dependent cell death of DCs in immune regulation remain to be elucidated. In this article, we show that DC-specific knockout of proapoptotic Bcl-2 family members, Bax and Bak, induced spontaneous T cell a...
